When R. Yoder Construction rebranded its business, a new website was needed. Their goals were to move away from residential projects to commercial work and show off their capabilities in a wide range of markets. Utilizing their new branding and updated photography, I designed a website that is easy to navigate and learn about what the company does, as well as show the markets they serve in.

Based on Integrity, Quality and Value

R. Yoder’s team wanted their website to reflect the values that they operate by and show that they are the company you can rely on. Using photography, video and drone shots to represent this, I was able able to design a website that is cohesive, visually appealing, brand compliant and interactive.

Event Planning

One of my favorite parts of being the marketing coordinator is handling events for clients and the press, as well as internal events for our employees!

Press events:

  • Groundbreaking ceremonies
  • Grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremonies

Employee events and activities:

  • Leadership retreats for management
  • Christmas party
  • Summer employee events and activities

Some of the planning responsibilities include a press release, guest speaker coordination, designing any signage needed, creating a program that includes a list of speakers and press photo participants with their names and job titles for attendees and press, setting up and tearing down, as well as producing a media kit for clients and press to have access to photo and video assets.

Video Production

Working with a videographer, I helped to plan, coordinate, and produce videos. While I never did any of the actual filming, I worked with the videographer to create a storyline and make storyboards, assist with shot lists, schedule time with clients, coordinate on-screen interviews, and helped to set up and tear down equipment.
